Bye-Bye, CADA Camp!

Thanks for a great CADA Camp! Check back on Sunday evening, July 13, for all the great ideas we shared in our School Climate rotations. You guys are "legit"! (did I use that word right?)

Cheers,
Ron

CADA Camp is the place to be!

Like I said, it's all about these awesome kids. I return to CADA Camp every year because it gives me hope and faith in our youth.

Keep it up.

Hi everyone! I just got home from CADA twenty minutes ago... SO TIRED! But I was just wondering if there would be more pictures from CADA on the internet?

It was TONS of fun and a life-altering experience. I wouldn't want to forget anything.

There should be both the slideshow we watched before the Closing Program and the full length (28-minute) video we watched at the very end on the DVD you received today. Please let me know if you didn't get both of those things on there and I'll get you a correct copy as soon as possible!

Cheers,
Ron

Glad you all enjoyed camp! As for more photos, I'm still experimenting with the format here on iSawYouAtCADA.com. In the meantime, there are lots of great photos in the slideshow on your DVD that you can share with friends and family.

Cheers,
Ron

CADA was life changing! I couldn't be happier to have come and to have met all the people that I did. I'm pretty exhausted and a little sick but it was all worth it. Thanks for everything Ron! :D

Siobhan, Kristin, and Chanel,

I'm so glad you enjoyed camp. Keep that fire going and pass it along to everyone else in your ASB that wasn't able to attend camp. Have a great year!

CADA was an awesome expirence! it opened my eyes to a whole new way of thinking, not only about ASB at school. but personal leadership for myself! Unfotunatly this is my senior year and i will be graduating. is there any way to still get involved with CADA next summer?

My kids arrived at CADA on Tuesday as "acquaintances" and left as "friends". I can't thank you enough for this lifechanging camp and the activities, presentations, and awesome speakers my kids and I never would have been a part of had it not been for all of the hard working CADA staff. I got to see first hand all of the time hard work you all put in, and I know you do this several times throughout the summer. You are all making a huge impact on these kids lives and not many people would do that for kids they don't even know. You're all awesome!! Don't ever forget that!! We appreciate all you do.

Ahh, words can't even describe how amazing CADA was this year. I'm definitely stoked for this upcoming year and what it'll hold. Thanks Ron for all the encouraging words-- both for ASB as a whole and our new advisor, Ms. Buers. We love you even though Burbank HS boys kept you up late at night. :)

CADA camp was a life changing experience for me. one that i will never forget. I met a lot of inspiring people that have the potential to do great things and i hope to see them in the future and hear about all the great things they will have accomplished for themselves and the community. Thakns to the cada staff and everyone that made this camp what it is.

At cada camp i learned that life is an experience. But i didnt know if that ment good or bad. By the end of camp i realized that it is up to me and only me to make this experience good or bad. Everyone has the power to take what they want from life and i chose to take the good and learn from the bad. I know that bad things will happen but there will always be good things right around the corner to make life worth it :)

I'm so glad you all got so much out of CADA. Lynn, great to have you here on staff. Hopefully we can get you for more camps next year.

Grata, you guys better rock it this year or I'll have to drive down to Burbank and kick your butts! :-) You're not that far away from me!

Isaac, if you're really serious about working CADA next summer, contact me in March and I'll get you an application. I can't make any promises (it took me eight years after I was a high school senior at CADA Camp before I came back to work camp, so be patient), but we do have limited space available for college-age staff.
